New Anti-Gang RICO Bill Will Fight The “Disease,” Says Alvarez

The Street Gang and Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, RICO for short, was passed by the General Assembly last week. This means that basically county prosecuters can aggressively go after gang leaders now on evidence that would previously not be considered substantial enough for prosecution. Question...just who the hell were they going after prior to this act being passed? By the way, Governor Quinn has yet to give his blessing on this act and we all now how much he drags his feet. But back to this act.... This is where everything starts to smell fishy, where you begin to tap your temple and wonder to yourself, hmmmm... Why couldn't you guys go after gang members and leaders effectively before? I'll tell you my take on it. Arresting the leader does little-to-nothing to a gang that's organized or not. We've seen that first hand with the Latin KIngs, Russian Mafia, Four Corner Hustlers, or The Gangter Disciples just to name a few. That old proverb "cut off the head of the snake" doesn't even begin to apply. During th NATO Summit, we had few, (or unreported), serious incidents for those three days. The minute that the world leaders packed up and headed out, the city became the O.K. Corral with a gun fight every hour on the hour. There were forty shootings and many of fatal in a three day period - unbelievable! This makes me believe that if you can control these simple bitches for three days, we can certainly control their asses for longer periods of time. Think about it, most of Chicago's Finest, including outside sources, were all downtown or somewhere in the vicinty cracking skulls which made the rest of the city a virtual sitting duck with all the attention being focused on the the summit and downtown interests. Break it down with me. Everything has a price tag and that includes crime. Why arrest the leader, when every year they can arrest over hundreds of the guys standing on the corner doing street selling detail or driving that product from between state lines. That's a lot money we're talking about - lawyers get their cut, the courts get their cut, the city and county get their cut. The big grand prize winner are the prisoners that hold these casualties of the drug game. The national average for housing these idiots is approximately $32,000 a year. Now imagine if one hundred people from each gang were locked up. Think of Ray Ray and Little Man and El Hombre being incarcerated for twenty years each at that cost. Those boys are working for the state and don't even get it - they've traded one "boss" for another, this time, it is "society approved". It is obvious that with many of our legislators, law enforcement, and so-called upholders of the law hanging around with their palms open and getting greased that there is no incentive to keep crime down to a minimum on a regular basis. 'Just Say No' - that's one of the biggest jokes and frauds we've ever been told! o, that's why know were not doing all that we should to keep crime down at a minimum.

Rahm Emanuel has turned out to be one of the biggest mistakes ever - like an unplanned pregnancy. I, for one, understand that some promises that were made, may not happen, that is just politics. It is the under the table, going through the back door, "wink-wink" shit going on in City Hall that bugs me. Let's start from the beginning. "I will not raise property taxes", he said, then Rahm raised property taxes. He appears to have become the poster child for fucking flip flopping. Well, Rahm, it seems your current past-time is fucking with CPS on a regular. School closings, longer school days and year, etc...you and that simple ass East Coast import to the Board of Education, Jean Paul "Gaultier" Brizzard, who seems to smirk whenever he discusses school closings are truly working overtime. On the issue of crime you've started using high-end terms for shit when you don't have a clue...what the fuck is a "gang audit" and why is the police chief occupying time by shuffling officers between districts and not actually policing? I really don't need my tax dollars used to overpay some Ivy League bitch to tell me Chicago has a gang problem! Now, on the heels of the red light cameras comes the blatant bullshit with the new citywide speed camera roll out and all this on the heels of the Mayor Daley's parking meter fiasco! In case you didn't know, Rahmey has ties to the company that provides red light and speed cameras for our dear city. It seems that company president, Greg Goldner helped Rahm out during his campaign and was a huge contributor. I guess this contract is the Mayor's way of saying, "thank you", I mean, why not let Goldner make his money back. He invested in Rahm and now Rahm is basically giving this bitch the keys to the city! Recently, our city council voted "yes" to speed camers in school and park zones. I'm proud to say that 14 Aldermen and Alderwomen voted against the cameras. They see the bigger picture of the cash cow crony benefits and the implications that more intrusion by Big Brother will cause the citizens of Chicago. Thank You Sandy Jackson, Bob Fioretti, Pat Dowell, and the others for voting against this stupid ass proposal. If we are now having issues with the red light cameras, wouldn't it stand to reason that we will have bigger issues with the speed cams? It doesn't matter and they don't care. Rahm and Goldner are shaking the shit out of those speed cams a.k.a. money trees and in the mean time shaking the shit out of our pockets. It is just business as usual in Chicago.

You Are Not Alone

Yep! That's what Rahm and Police Superintendent McCarthy has said to the public. Even though when bullets are flying and you've learned to duck, dodge, drop, and roll to avoid getting hit, you are not alone - they are with you in spirit, as so they'd like you to believe. Rahm has seen fit to use the Englewood as the poster child for gang violence, it doesn't hurt his case as the neighborhood is now in the spotlight as the site for the Jennifer Hudson Family Murders. It is disturbingly true that homicides in Englewood have gone up 60 percent in a year's time with the majority being by gunfire. I couldn't imagine living in an enviroment like that everyday. I was born in Chicago and was a resident in Englewood back in the day, not telling the year, and let's just say, nothing much has changed, except maybe the frequency. Back then, my grandmother had a gun or two on standby, a baseball bat by the bed, and a butcher knife hidden somewhere in the house. Looking back it is probably where my tendency to carry shit wherever I go was born. What exactly does the Mayor and McCarthy going to do differently from the Mayor and officers that came before them? Nothing - absolutely nothing can stop that train wreck except maybe martial law, a complete checkpoint shutdown, if you will. Here's where black folks start to fuck themselves when it comes to playing politics. Voter turn out is a complete joke in certain areas. By not voting, your area is of least concern to the powers-that-be and who you choose to vote for can make or break your area's future. You have Aldermen and Alderwomen that could give a fuck about the actual well-being of their constituents, except come election day, that's the only time you'll get their attention and ear. The pimp-ass Christian churches turn a blind eye, as they buy property there at a cheap rate, pay no taxes, and don't give back to the very areas they are situated, and no one says a word - no accountability, no leadership, no responsibility. Englewood and neighborhoods like them, don't, and never will have a chance to flourish and get it together. Poor areas in America are treated like certain third-world countries, if there isn't money to be made, you are screwed. So, why bother to invest in an area, that won't invest in itself or have people demand in a unified voice for better surroundings. You need more than one or two people striving for change, you need the community to actively want better and not stop until their voices are heard and acted upon. "You Are Not Alone", the Mayor says,feeding us this line of bullshit to act as if we care. Make no mistake, fuck that, in this situation, we are alone.

Racist Anti-Obama Sticker Makes News

I'm sure some have seen these racist ass stickers attached to vehicles.

What's really upsetting that no matter what, America seems to always insult Mr. Obama.

At every turn, something new comes up.
What has he done, other than to try and be a genuinely good guy.

Think about it, did you see politicians screaming, "You lie" at the President and wagging their bony fingers in Bush's face on a presidental visit? No, you didn't.

These folks always have a reason to why they are acting like assholes to our current President: frustration about the economy, immigration ills, jobs that have been sent overseas, gas prices, indigestion, lack of a sex life, etc...
They need to be honest and just admit they feel that he doesn't deserve their respect, no matter how much he is attained or what office he holds. Dignity and respect to hell with you. Fuck him and fuck the office, and through it all none of these gung-ho, apple pie eating, American flag waving bastards say nothing about it.

We've turned "immigrant" into a bad word with the broken policies that supported the dreams of corporations and Republicans looking for cheap labor and now all Hispanics are looked at like undocumented workers no matter their status.

All this shit goes on daily and because some are trying to think like an extreme Catholic or an extremist "Christian", everyone one that doesn't prescribe to their fairytale vision of what America was and should be.... and I'm fucking un-American.

Another Georgia School in Trouble - A Teacher Made Students Play “Slave Games”

No America, it's not the same story. It is like a "two-fer" from the Peach State - that great racist state of Georgia is at it again.

Slave Games Part 2!

Our new story of backwards education starts when a 3rd-grader told her parent about a "slave game" that the daughter was told to play, with her white teacher at school.

The kids were playing a game of tag. The kids were the slaves and the teacher was the slave catcher.

School district spokesman, Jorge Quintana, stated that an investigation followed, and that the teacher didn't organize the "tag Negro, your turn to run" game. It was also stated that the kids initiated the game they found.

I don't know about that.

What 3rd-grade kids, African American kids for that matter, are being raised to discuss slavery and think it is worthy of playing a game, and in Georgia?

I learned about slavery in school, but definately not until I was a little older. I think at some point most African Americans discuss slavery at home, especially when history time rolls around or to further emphasize the importance of Black History Month.

It was more used as a tool by my mother to make me understand what African Americans went through, and that I was blessed to be in the position that i'm in.
Meaning - Education: Brings opportunity, Voting: Brings change, Strength: Knock the fuck out of someone when disrespected!

Slavery shit wasn't used to make me feel bad about myself or to put me in my place, which is what these dumbass teachers are doing to these kids.

It is like they are trying to say this is where you came from, and you will always be what they were - SLAVES!

First, the Georgia Board said the tests from the other week, were part of the curriculum.
Now, we're being told that African American 3rd-graders are now initiating "slave games" with one another on the playground. Even if that were true, who gave them the idea that this was a good thing?

Give me a fucking break!!!

Spokesman Jorge stated that the accusations were unfounded, yet the school distict is planning diversity training for their inept teachers!
And shame on them that it was only after a parent protest that a more thorough investigation was done.

Guess what?

That investigation found out that four teachers were responsible for the problem. One dumbass has resigned and now we're still waiting on the other three.

What's with the disrespect in our schools for children of color, for all kids for spreading this 19th century bullshit? It is so insulting.

What the fuck is going on in your miserable life to make you be so ignorant towards kids who need to be taught and not taught with a bias towards your dysfunctional mindset?

Shit, if life's that bad or you hate African Americans that much, get out of the education game, why you're at it, dammit, kill yourself. The world has enough problems without you polluting it further.

Why must Africaan Americans get radical in this day and age in order to get a school district to act right?

Welfare in the Spotlight in this Election – the Myths and the Truth

I'm gonna piggyback from a blog I posted earlier about the misconceptions of "Black Americans" and the Welfare system.

Newt Gingrich stated that since President Obama has been in office that there are more Americans on welfare than ever before with the implication once again that Blacks makeup the majority of the welfare rolls.
Black folks cried foul and he backpeddled and said Mr. President was "the most successful food stamp president in history". Yeah, Newt, that's better.

Rick Santorum another Republican candidate, who if he had his way, black folks would still be in shackles and all Hispanics would be put out of the country, stated that he wants "Black Americans" to stop taking free money from taxpayers and get a job. The implications was that this money was being taken from hard working white folks.
This dumb ass statement was made during a speech recently in Iowa.

So for those that may have missed the boat on the facts about welfare, let's refresh...

Starting with Food Stamps recipients, there were 34% Whites, 22% Blacks and 16% Hispanics counted as welfare recipients in 2011.

Under the Temporary Assistance For Needy Families, also known as TANF, where recipients are given given cash assistance, as of 2009: 33% Blacks, 31% Whites and 29% Hispanics received help.

Keep in mind that all this misfortune happened during the Bush era. The rise in all assistance started then, President Obama happened to inherit this bullshit.

So what has Mr. President done since then you ask?

For the 5 million Americans that were receiving assistance. Subtract 1.9 million of the inheritance that the President received.

White America should be pissed that Newt and Santorum are playing the same race game.
Bring race into the mix as a smoke screen, and I'll forget the fact that Congress fucked me again.

I'll forget that Republicans keep giving the rich taxbreaks.

I'll forget that I, and you, bailed out the banking industry and the banking heads kept their bonuses, raises and salary.

I'll forget that most good paying jobs are now gone, because those jobs are now in other countries where they don't pay the worker shit and employees don't have insurance, holiday pay, or raises.

Now that's a smoke screen for your asses!

Just from looking at television, it seems the folks in Iowa and South Carolina are falling for the ole okedoke again.

Jobs vanished long before Mr. Obama even ran for President. In fact, it has been a hallmark of Republican sponsored corporate bill breaks for more than 20 years!

Americans of all races, don't blame Mr. President, blame yourselves for falling for the same shit every election.
